Bryan Station senior tailback Tevin McCaden, who led the state in rushing most of last season, will accept Kentucky’s offer to join the Cats as a preferred walk-on. McCaden had put off a decision on national signing day when it appeared he might get a scholarship offer from Minnesota. But that didn’t happen, so the 5-foot-10, 190-pounder decided Friday to stay home and walk on at UK, according to Bryan Station coach Oliver Lucas. McCaden ran for more than 2,000 yards in Bryan Station’s first nine games last fall before getting dinged up in the regular-season finale. He didn’t regain his form after that, and wound up with 2,073 yards and 26 TDs in 11 games. Comments (0) |
