Bryan Station junior lineman commits to UK

Bryan Station junior offensive tackle Darrian Miller has committed to play college football at Kentucky.

Miller called UK assistant Chuck Smith on Sunday night to tell him he wanted to join the Cats for the 2011 season.

"I've been talking to (UK) for a while and decided to go ahead and commit," said Miller, who also was being recruited by Alabama.

The 6-foot-5, 265-pound Miller was a first-team All-City selection this year after helping Bryan Station go 9-3, its best record in 10 years.

Defenders Coach Oliver Lucas said Miller is a "big-time player who could've gone anywhere.
